Status Report 1 - 9/29 Bethany showed us some other sites to use, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with Google Sites for my Electronic Portfolio. For one, I've already added my Glogster and designed it, but I'm also used to it from Mr. List's class. I'm comfortable, and I don't want to add anymore work for myself.
I really have no idea what to do for a theme. I'm not quite sure what the point of it is, but as soon as i understand what it is, I think I could come up with something really creative.
I think I'm going to do something on coaching and drama. Those are two things I have to offer to a school.
Status Report 2 - 10/2 I've just been gathering some artifacts. I had to contact some old friends to get my SIP project. I really hated that project, but I think it's required so I had to send some emails out. I want to use some of my Creative Writing, but I don't know if that's sufficient for content knowledge. I made a separate section for it.
Status Report 3: 10/12
I was thinking about doing something about a journey or something for my theme. I tried to embed Don't Stop Believing to my home page, but i couldn't find a way to do it aside from putting a youtube video on my homepage.
Status Report 4: 10/19
Apparently everyone is doing something about journeys or growth, so I can't do that. I have to be original. I have a reputation to uphold. I worked on coming up with another theme.
I put in my Content Knowledge, a paper comparing Walt Whitman and Bob Dylan and a paper talking about the atrocities of the Japanese during WWII. I put my Outsiders Project Video from Last year on the Leadership and collaboration page. We're about to start with our Outsiders students this year, but I don't know if they can beat last years students. I'm putting last years video on my EP and I'll probably put this years video on there too when i get the opportunity.

I think i'm going to do like a "One Man Wolfpack" type of a theme to show my skills as a teacher.
I found some quotes i like and put them on my main category pages. I wanted to choose quotes from really smart and well known people so i got some from Einstein, Eisenhower, and Bill Gates.

I did a lot of work today... and in the morning. As i was looking through my Collaboration and leadership and Pedagogical Knowledge categories I realized I'm not a one man wolfpack. There are a lot of people who have helped me become the teacher i am today, so i just altered my theme a little bit.
I put in my Pedagogical Knowledge and my SIP project in my Leadership category. I changed my Paul Harvey Video in for my Japanese paper because i liked it a lot better. I didn't get to my Arts and Theater section because i realized I dont have a lot for that.
It's a work in progress, but i got a lot done today. I changed my design layout and had to re-format a lot of stuff.
